ATEK eV is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that supports families and relatives of traumatized veterans and emergency responders. Our goal is to raise awareness of the experiences and challenges of dealing with PTSD in everyday family life.
Through our projects we promote:
Care and exchange – safe spaces for relatives to share experiences and experience community.
Public relations and education – events, publications and lectures that convey a realistic picture of the service and its consequences.
Social projects and support – practical help, networks and collaborations that provide guidance to affected relatives and families.
Our annual Christmas package campaign for the soldiers who are being treated in Bundeswehr hospitals during the holidays due to their PTSD.
