Legal issues: military law/military law/social law/administrative law
We are pleased to be working with attorney Marco Loch (Saarbrücken) – a specialist in military, military, administrative, and social law – who is also representing my husband in his lawsuit against the Federal Office for the Protection of the Armed Forces (BAPersBw). Together, we are committed to advocating for the rights of servicemen and women and their families.
“The law must always serve justice.” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg (* March 15, 1933 , † September 18, 2020
Attorney Marco Loch
As an experienced lawyer in military law/military law, attorney Marco Loch has successfully accompanied and represented members of the German Armed Forces all the way to the Federal Administrative Court.
Especially when it comes to issues related to military service-related injuries (WDB), which sometimes go hand in hand with the German Social Code (SGB IX) (Severely Disabled Persons Act, Care Level), there are numerous aspects to consider. With his expertise and experience, Attorney Loch is the right contact for active and former members of the German Armed Forces, as well as their relatives and families. This is especially true when injuries sustained during deployment are involved.
In the future, ATEKeV, together with attorney Loch, will offer information on current issues in the aforementioned topics in an online format. (This does not provide legal advice.)

Counseling for children, young people and parents
Children and young people experience everyday life with PTSD in parents, siblings, etc. differently than adults, and parents also need support in dealing with the sometimes stressful family situation caused by PTSD. Children, young people, and parents can contact Lena via the helpline or WhatsApp and share their worries and concerns. She volunteers as a social worker with a B.Sc. degree and knows what it's like. She is herself the daughter of a combat veteran.
INDIVIDUAL CONVERSATIONS
Sometimes it's easier to talk face-to-face. If you're not yet comfortable speaking in a group setting, you can schedule a one-on-one appointment with me online. There, we can discuss whatever's bothering you in a safe, non-binding space.
If you need longer-term, more intensive support, our psychologists Sinja and Susanne are available to provide you with voluntary counseling. You can register anytime using the contact form. I'll get back to you promptly.
ONLINE SELF-HELP GROUP for relatives of traumatized veterans and emergency personnel
Simply listen and benefit from the experiences of others, or vent your anger. Both are possible in my online support group. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 8:00 PM and share stories about everyday life with our traumatized loved ones. It's informal and safe. Join us and sign up!
First ONLINE SELF-HELP GROUP for traumatized veterans and emergency personnel
Led by my husband, Martin Thamm-Sparwald (PEER), the first online support group for traumatized emergency personnel is taking place. An exchange on equal terms, from one affected person to another.
